Fire Extinguisher Services
Fire extinguishers are often a forgotten piece of the safety plan for commercial and residential buildings. We bring to the table a group of dedicated, licensed professionals that will service your fire extinguisher.
Per Ohio Fire Code every year a fire extinguisher in a commercial establishment needs to be serviced to verify it is operational. This includes checking for any structural damage to the extinguisher, pressure check, hose or nozzle clear of obstructions and that the pin is in place and sealed.
6 Years Post Manufacture
Six years after manufacture, the extinguisher needs to be discharged, and internal parts checked for operational capabilities. The extinguisher is then recharged and ready for service.
12 Years Post Manufacture
At twelve years post manufacture the extinguisher is discharged and hydrotested to verify that the cylinder is structurally intact, then the unit is recharged and ready for service.
